I have almost never been a completely stagnant person, at least not for long. Even whilst I was still a binge drinker ,in bad relationships or going through any kind of stress, I pretty much have keep moving forward, just not as proficiently, or as focused  and definitely not enjoying the process as much. These listed here are in addition to the many hours of added time that I gained and accomplishments I acquired when I quit drinking 8 months ago. If I went back even further and started with all that I’ve done with my time since moving out on my own for the first time in decades (3 years ago – i.e. not living with a boyfriend) the list would be even longer. If I went back to when I left my second ..or even first abusive relationship, the list would become a small pamphlet.. and so on. The point being that this is all a process of baby steps.

Take the time each day or week to write down all these small things because they really do add up! Even if something seems miniscule or unimportant! You don’t have to share it with anyone- but it is very motivating for YOURSELF to be able to look back, re assess, or get re inspired form time to time.
